KJV John 8:31-32,
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and truth shall make you free.
A Christian's life of OBEDIENCE to GOD is a life of daily adversity and challenge as one walks in the LOVE and CHARACTER of GOD.
Being a "true disciple" is called being a "disciplined follower" of Lord Jesus Christ.
Do NOT be "fear-FULL"; BE "fear-LESS" for Christ!
